This course introduces advanced analytical techniques for the separation and characterization of biomolecules, with a focus on modern liquid chromatography (LC) and capillary electrophoresis (CE). Students will learn the theoretical foundations of separation science, the design and optimization of LC and CE methods, and their application to proteins, peptides, nucleic acids, and other biologically relevant molecules. Through lectures, case studies, and problem-solving sessions, students gain the expertise to critically select and apply separation techniques to complex biomolecular systems in both research and applied contexts.
