The module introduces students to the use of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), with a particular focus on solving practical problems from the life sciences industry.

After an introduction to the basics of fluid dynamics and numerical methods, practical problems from the life sciences industry will be presented, and students will be guided in solving them through CFD analysis. 

For each problem, the fundamental physics required for its solution will first be explained, followed by a tutorial using CFD software.
