The aim of this course is to provide the students with an understanding of human behaviour in organizations. Organizational Behaviour (OB) focuses on human behaviour in organizational settings, the interface between human behaviour and the organization. Understanding the organizational behaviour is crucial for those seeking a career in management. The ability to understand what people think and feel, knowing how to persuade and motivate others, resolve conflicts and forge cooperation are among the crucial skills for successful leaders. The skills gained in OB complement the technical skills derived from other core business subjects such as economics, accounting and finance. This course introduces the basic concepts and topics focusing on individual, interpersonal and collective levels providing an understanding of individual differences, how these differences affect group dynamics and how organizational factors affect individual behaviour.
