At the end of the course, the students will be able:

- To understand the influence of media, microorganisms, and growth conditions on the outcome of experiments
- To understand the different types of bioprocesses, their advantages and disadvantages with respect to performance and product yield

- To read, critically evaluate and summarize scientific publications and reports
